SMILE CODE: TARGETED LIP CARE

Did you know that our lips can betray our age? And yes, this fragile area is one of the first to mark itself. Thinning lips, fine lines on the outline ... A good reason to take good care of it and not to neglect this area. Talika understands this and offers us a specific product: the Smile Code.
This little pen actually contains 2 products, each with 2 tips.
  • A volumizing treatment
  • A lip contour treatment
Volumizing care is applied to the lips. It contains a cocktail of spices to activate microcirculation, jojoba and avocado oils to nourish, regenerate and protect, but also marine collagen to fill the microgrooves and a volumizing peptide to stimulate collagen synthesis.
Online Fashion Store is rather a follower of volumizing care, I have tested differently in recent years. Some people “tear-off” because they are so strong, one has the impression of burning lips. This is not the case here, there is a tingling sensation but totally bearable, it is very well dosed and it hydrates well (therefore usable even in the cold).

On the right, with the small brush, it is the lip contour treatment. It contains an extract of divine grass (the name makes you dream right?) Which stimulates the synthesis of collagen and elastin as well as a silk tree extract to fight against aging and protect but also plant glycerin to retain water in the epidermis.
On the application side, it's very simple: the lip contour treatment finds its place in the usual routine, in the morning and evening before the moisturizing treatment.
The volumizing care can be applied as often as desired, before or after the lipstick (I prefer before).
Results: concerning the volumizing care the effect is immediate, one has a feeling of more "full" lips, plumped up. After 2/3 weeks of use, I really had the feeling of a more defined lip contour, of prettier lips. I take the pen in my bag to apply it several times a day and during the holidays I applied it in preparation before applying a pigmented lipstick.
Who is this product for? I would say in priority to women from 35/40 years old, but also to smokers or those who have thin lips. That said, I find that the volumizing care is also a great base for a matte and/or highly pigmented lipstick (dark lipsticks make the lips appear thinner), which generally highlights the defects (streaks, etc.). As it hydrates and smoothes the lips, it's perfect.
